Emotional Freedom Technique

A cognitive/somatic technique that is used to resolve or improve any emotional or physical issue and destructive thought patterns which leads to unhelpful forms of behaviour. 

This technique is really powerful when used everyday to give your nervous system a cleanse and restore your nervous system, when working with a practitioner it goes deeper, supporting the process of healing safely and effectively, often where lots of other approaches haven't worked.

 

Matrix Reimprinting

Based on similar principles of EFT, but it takes healing into the matrix, which is understood as the energy field that connects us to everything, and is where our past experiences and the beliefs we attached to them are held. 

This technique allows us to work with what can be inherited through our ancestors, past lives or generational themes from our family and culture. It's gentle and creative and allows for greater insight when we move into the subconscious mind.

 

Reiki

An energy technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

 

Reiki meaning universal life energy can be sent and received over distance, and supports the work that we do when moving from mind to body.

Breathing

Conscious breathing signals the body to be calm when it’s in a state of stress. Healing can occur when the body moves through this state.

 

The breath is our constant, when we need to pause, to prevent reaction, a breath is the simple action that allows us to re-centre.

Grounding

Balancing out the spiritual and physical energy in your body, by connecting yourself with the earth and our body. 

 

Grounding techniques help manage the symptoms of trauma by refocusing attention from uncomfortable thoughts and memories to the present moment.

Journaling

Journaling refers to making a journal filled with affirming thoughts about yourself to help change the way you perceive the world.

Regularly connecting pen to paper is a powerful act to support integration of the healing during therapy and it's actively encouraged here.

Julianne is also trained in Chakra dancing and will draw on some of the meditations, visualisations and movement techniques from its principles and techniques.
